We really need to nail down where this "place" is.
Is the place of issue, within the current borders of India.

My arm is going is going to get tired of throwing you guys bones Quote: 6. Not issued in Europe ( In IMHO, But I guess it could go either way) Quote: There are five countries that have at least a portion of them in Europe and Asia You were on the right track. Not sure where India fits I will give you all this seeing how no one can figure out dates This coin has a date range. That date range is some where between 1171-1271 GOOD LUCK

I was trying to work out what this "place" was, so was thinking an Indian Principality.
I'm confused now, you say we are on the right track with it being part Europe and part Asia, but then you said it is 100% in Asia. My head is in a spin.
Steve :)

These are 5 that fit the quote I have no idea where it came from. Maybe 1 of keiths disappearing hints.
"Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia—which are technically part of both continents."
We can't just hack away at the list, any idea's....

We can't just hack away at the list, any idea's.... Ok, if we are going back to those 5 possibilities. Turkey did not exist then. I am getting nothing from Numista on most of the other countries. Is the country Georgia, or as it was called then, the Kingdom of Georgia? Steve :)
