Quote: Im starting to think I answered something wrong. Removing Iran, The Netherlands and Yemen, from the Numista list ( https://en.numista.com/catalogue/in...=&mt=&g=&se= ) there are only three options left (with six coins to choose from): Belgium, Italy, and the ECU.

Quote:Im starting to think I answered something wrong. I doubt it. I was wrong with the year. Should have waited, but that coin ticked all the boxes at the time and has a pretty cool story. Steve went the wrong way with the diameter question and his guess came from the coin section. Ed's guess doesn't have a definitive year. So now it's up to joe and sprue. Go get him guys.

Assuming the item is in Numista's exonumia section, when I put in all the parameters, there seems to be only 7 options. I asked if the coin was dated 1965 or equivalent and the answer was yes. Only one item in the list is dated and that is also from Yemen.

Quote: Please let me know if you think I answered any questions incorrectly Not that I'm aware of. It was in my list after narrowing everything down. I think some may have discounted it for being Yemeni and overlooked that it was minted in Austria.

Okay, this will probably be an easy one, but I have a coin.

Well at least I got the Yemen part right. If only I had waited 2 more minutes for an answer. :)
Spruett, was the coin issued in the Americas?
