Nothing dry about this heat.
I'm sitting here dripping in sweat.
We don't have air con.
I'll just leave some sweaty finger prints on your
coins so you can share it too.
And you can keep that cold weather too.

My guess is a 1994 50 Pence D-Day Anniversary from the UK, not BU or Proof.

(That's 104F for the Seppos)

Why, because we're all too stupid to convert it or just stupid for using a different scale? I've ignored it for some time but I have to say I'm getting fairly tired of the ugliness toward Americans, and the US in general, on this forum.

Have to confess that I had to look up what a Seppo was:

an American person:
informal, derogatory Australian

I've always taken it as just "all in good fun". I can see how someone could get upset by it, especially now that I know what "seppo" means.

I just see it as an inferiority complex. Look at it this way, these former colonies still kiss her Majesties behind. The Aussies are descended from convicts and are jealous because us USA patriots come from upstanding good stock, and we had the temerity to kick the royals in the rear end.

Then we had to save their bacon twice.

And the Canuks are half French. So they have a bit of trouble coming to grips with that.

(However , I do believe the metric system is the far superior one.)

I thought stirring each other up, was part of this thread.

I comes from septic tank, rhyming slang for Yank.

Yes, thanks for your help in 1942, when we could have used it in 1939.

Now get back to the game at hand and start guessing.
It shouldn't be too difficult now.

Yeah, as in "Americans are full of crap." Thanks. We're all very aware that different countries use different systems and spell and pronounce words differently. Constantly bringing it up in such a way that is derisive toward Americans as if what we do is inferior somehow and we're so stupid we can't comprehend other ways of doing things is getting old.
