Joe's cat told me to guess this 1.

My guess is a 1205-1235 Obulus Andrew II from Hungary EH#171.

Andrew II of Hungary was defeated by his brother in battle. His brother used a "leafy bough" to defeat Andrews entire army. Andrew seems to have been a bit of a Richard.

My guess:
Issuer Hungary
King Andrew II (1205-1235)
Type Standard circulation coin
Years 1205-1235
Value 1 Obulus (1/2)
Currency Denár (997-1310)
Composition Silver
Weight 0.27 g
Diameter 12.00 mm
Shape Round (irregular)
Technique Hammered
Demonetized Yes
Number N# 59922
References EK I# 17/25, CAC III# 21.19

Two different dates listed on Numista for that one. That's confusing.

I convinced myself it was a Numista typo. It's not the same as this coin I found. I see the panther, but the other side has no sun or crescent moon.

You got a # on this thing keith?

Another compelling argument as to why 3rd party graders shouldn't take money for grading items they have no expertise with.

Regardless, nice coin!
