Quote: I was referring to size in case the country was Andorra, Liechtenstein, Vatican, or San Mario. "size" of what...population, land mass, Covid cases...you need to word it differently. Chafe, no sweat messing up, we all do it, then feel bad, but move on wiser. You know you are welcome here, and we can't wait to count you as a guesser. .

NumisEd is the GM. So I feel we need to ask if the coin is from the Netherlands. I don't think it has already been eliminated.

North Sea is part of Atlantic Ocean, so I believe the Netherlands has been eliminated. I believe we are left with: Andorra San Marino Vatican City Luxembourg Liechtenstein Czech Republic Kosovo Moldova Ukraine Belarus

The Orient Express apparently runs through tiny little Lichtenstein afterall. So that one is eliminated.

That rules out everything on that list except some zinc coins from Czech Republic (Bohemia and Moravia) from WW2.
A closer look at that Orient Express map makes me think it did pass through Czech Rep.
I'm starting to think this has to be a German States gold coin from a state not on the coast.
