1858-1859 had a 95% copper 1 cent coin for the Province of Canada, then Canada has the same large cents from 1876-1901. If it's a bank token, then I am lost, so lets hope its a Large Cent.

We have 10 questions left, and are looking good, so lets use one.

Was this coin made for the Province of Canada?

Better recap: copper coin, Canadian, does not have a king on it. Minted after 1857, before 1953. Not minted east of Quebec

I still am wondering if we missed something, and it may not be a Large Cent. So lets find out.

Is the coin a Canadian Large Cent dated between 1876 and 1901?

James, we are down to 1901 for the top end, this is due to the "King on the coin" question earlier. There was a King on the coins from 1902 to 1952. Don't go away, were going to start guessing soon.

Gotcha!

Mintage years are 1876, 1881, 1882, 1884, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1890 through 1901.

Is the coin from 1890 through to 1901?
