Just checked ebay, and my LCS actually has a 5000 count 40s-50s bag listed. 4.3 cents each ( that's including $16 shipping) which isn't terrible. Last I knew they were only looking for major varieties, of that. BUT with them only dealing bullion right now, they may have their younger guys sorting through more in depth. Going to call them tomorrow and I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: Spoke with them today, everything's pretty well searched through, so scrap that option.

Thanks a lot for the info sheldius, you've certainly been finding some terrific finds. I'll keep a lookout.

I just checked out Toomba and he looks like a big seller for wheat cents. Yes he has a few mixed rolls. Most of them are from the 1930s. Thanks for letting me know, I might buy one of his rolls and see what's inside.

Ah interesting thanks for letting me know anyway Ty2020b.

LCS employee here. Buy bags of wheats. We never take the time to search them. Most of them come from broken down albums, small amounts people bring in, or from people who sell collections. It isn't worth it in the grand scheme for us to go through them. Heck. I've bought them on my own time and found good stuff.
