Chopped Triumphs Pillar of the Community United States 562 Posts	Posted 02/16/2023 02:08 am 2009 Jefferson Hard Times Token (HTJ-2009-CN) Dated 2009 all have a die crack across the face / over struck on a U.S. mint nickel, some have a die break at 6:00 as this one does. I'm not into collecting the hard times token series but I got a good deal on this one. The inscription on the reverse reads: Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, The principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.
