I posted my Carr Bicentennial Set early in this thread - Daniel Carr Bicentennial Set - so I won't post them again.

Good stuff in any case!

Mine is the copper-nickel version, the one like yours overstruck on a 76-S 40% is the next one on my list.

1884 CC Cancelled Die
Overstruck using genuine cancelled U.S. Mint dies
Production date- October 2021
Die pair- "37"
Mintage- 199
(194 brilliant, 5 antiqued).

The first 6 (brilliant only) were over-struck in a 38mm collar and the
rest in a 39mm collar.28 have off-centerover-strikes showing the
original 1884 date of host coin.
Six have multi-strike with
shift (some are flip-over).
Unlike the first one posted this one strongly shows the host coin underneath.

Interesting piece! Thanks for sharing!

I'm not a Morgan collector, but I always enjoy seeing "off the beaten path" material - regardless of subject / personal collecting interest!

I was late to the Daniel Carr party - my first was the 1622-2022 Atocha commemorative klippe-style cob, color-antiqued finish that I purchased after seeing Chopped Triumph's coin. Yesterday I purchased this DC Atocha commemorative (seller's pics).

Very nice! Likely nicer than the original when they were new!
