2007 Scottish £5: 2016 Scottish £5: 1990 English £5 (already posted in the 'trains' thread): The Scottish notes illustrate the Brig O'Doon, a late 15th-century bridge near Alloway in Scotland. It was famously featured by Robert Burns in his poem 'Tam O'Shanter'. The English £5 note shows Skerne Bridge on the railroad line between Stockton and Darlington, opened in 1825. It's the oldest railroad bridge still in use: you can still take a regular passenger train between Stockton and Darlington today and travel across it.
