Our house was burgerlized a few years back. The police said the theives were professionals and only touched what they took so they couldn't get any prints. They took the jewelry boxes, camcorder sitting on the living room floor, etc.

Here is the big lesson. Don't put your valuables in ordinary spots like jewelry boxes, etc.

If you have valuable coins, spread them around the house in odd places like a coffee cup in the cupboard or an emptied plastic mustard jar in the fridge. Take time to think about it and you will come up with some great places theives won't take the time to look in. Just spread them all over the house.
