DBM, I also like very much Pistrucci's work on gold sovereigns.

I am also a big fan of the 1943-45 Victory nickels (even though they contain no nickel). When I was a child 40 years ago, these nickels were frequently found in circulation (even the Tombacs). I like all the unique features: the inspirational message in Morse code around the rim, the big V (stolen from pre-1913 American nickels) and the torch. I don't like 2005 version, it is too watered down.
