After all each time I use PayPal to buy something, I'm taken away from the site to log into PayPal to auth it then a return trip back to finish. I wonder if it might be something to do with pre-authorization. What I meant was in how the authorization procedures may differ. Whenever I buy something with with a credit card, there is a pending charge that sits until the vendor closes it out. With PayPal, it is immediate; at least from my point of view. I never see it as a pending charge than can expire. It might also be a limitation in their service agreement.
