Not your usual 1901 coin... or maybe it is, but I guess the Americans are mostly still sleeping.

I was a little discouraged by missing 1923 (where I had about half a dozen entries) and didn't post for a while after that (even though I had lots of coins in the 1910s) because I didn't think I deserved it, and/or because I just stopped keeping track at some point.
I think this coin, at least, should be posted though. And I have another entry for 1898 (not American this time).



1901-O Barber quarter. (I keep typoing that to 1901-S. It's not that rare - though still a semi-key.)
Not actually purple, that's just an artifact of the photography method I used at the time. The reverse dent at 5h is real though.
