That was a nice catch @JSB, sounds like you would be good at 'cherrypicking' varieties or errors online when images are verified to not be stock. I had tried that for a bit and even found some only to be sent different coins than the images shown (which were used as stock photos from other examples) so try to verify the coins are the actual ones being offered.

I had found the ebay listing and contacted the seller as mentioned after your post, who had confirmed it was a unusual mistake in the ngc photos as the actual coin itself with that certificate did not have the wheat reverse. I was awaiting photos from the seller to post here, but since NGC has confirmed that the images were incorrect on their site and fixed them there (which the seller also used), its no longer needed. If you look up the certificate again it now shows the correct reverse without the wheat back. The seller will let the buyer know and offer a refund before sending to them just in the unlikely event they bought it thinking it was an error due to the wheat reverse in the image. Its too bad that wasnt a wheat reverse as that would have been potentially worth tens of thousands and would cause quite a lot of excitement! Keep searching

The mistake was from NGC in their photo they put on their site, now fixed, which was used also by the seller for the listing rather than taking new photos, and neither the seller and likely the buyer as well were even aware of the potential 'error' value as that was pointed out only by JSB here. The listing also was not trying to sell this as an error coin nor pump up the value as it wasnt even mentioned, just happened to be a mistake that if it wasnt a mistake would have been an amazing find for that buyer at $19.50 when it could be worth tens of thousands if authenticated. As a lesson if you see something like that might want to bid higher and take a chance, I'm sure JSB would have been if it turned out to be a super valuable coin.
