Very nice addition Commem - I had started to wonder about that counterstamp of N CAR until I saw your text under it. But do you have an idea about the "237" (or is it 287?) that is also countestamped?

@All: Thanks for the kind feedback on my Stone Mountain half dollar! Next up is another US commemorative half dollar from 1925 - the Fort Vancouver Centennial coin. Mt. Hood is seen in the background on the coin's reverse, behind the fur trapper standing in the foreground and Fort Vancouver in the mid-ground. Mt. Hood is located in Oregon, and is part of the Cascade Mountain Range. It has an elevation of 11,239 feet, and is the highest peak in Oregon.
