In general, buyers. I can think of 3 high end specialty dealers who are running sales at 10-25% off, some across their entire lists. And their lists are getting more and more complete.

On the other hand over on ebay I see lots of sucker trade buy-it-now's and counterfeits. It's a seller's market by design. Where did the auctions go?

Well, I have been wondering how many of us are selling off coins to pay off credit cards, while at the same time buying coins either out of passion (i.e. the madness of coin collecting), or more logically, investment if we see a good deal? Then it can be a buyers and sellers market as some have suggested for some of us and it becomes more complicated. We are buying and selling each others' coins with an effort to move up the ladder to better investments if we can afford them...
