Thank you all! Yes, it is a somewhat scarce item - only 8280 were minted, as opposed to 20,000 in 1925 (the final year in which Culion coins were produced).  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Greece 1 Drachma 1973 with a little owl ( Athene noctua), the symbol of goddess Athena which was first depicted on an ancient Greek tetradrachm (5th century BCE).   An Athenian tetradrachm from after 499 BC, showing the head of Athena and the owl (Wikipedia).  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
