Great fun, thanks nick10. Today I found a dime size beetle floundering in the wash up tub. I grabbed him for release, but had to walk through a full lunch room. "What have you got there loonie?" "My bug buddy." Set him free on a truck bumper to dry off. He sure is the cleanest beetle running around out there.

Nick, your generosity and altruism are admirable. On the rare occasions when I leave home, I try to do nice things for everyone I meet. Opening a door or holding one open, letting someone go ahead of me in line, etc. I would make a claim, but honestly I would rather the coins go to someone who really needs them.

Edit: @Hondo, do you mean me, Khromtau, or the original poster, Nick10? I saw you edited your reply. As I said, it might be too small a deed, I just don't know what Nick10's cutoff for a good deed is as nothing was stated. I am indifferent either way, I just figured I would try since I have never gotten anything from a contest or a giveaway.

OK, boxes of cents have shipped out to NumismaticsFTW and Khromtau. Let us know if you find any good varieties or errors.
It's just as well there weren't more takers yet since I found lugging 20 pounds of coins to USPS sufficient exercise.
I have three more boxes of bronze LMCs left. Post here about a good deed you did that day, then PM me your shipping address (US only, please), and I'll ship you 1500 of those cents at no charge.

I peeked in a couple rolls to verify the date range and found lots of red-brown cents, a few full reds too, from the '60s and '70s. They were rolled up decades ago then stored in a dry and smoke-free environment since.

Got your PM, Dearborn, so will ready a box for you. Yours will probably ship out in a week, along with a box for up to two other good deed doers by then.

Thanks Nick! They have arrived safely! I opened the box, but it will be a few days before I can get to search them.

Excellent! USPS probably does not see many small flat rate boxes that weigh that much. Glad a few strips of tape were sufficient.
