I called ahead and asked. Some woman on the other end said they'd have it all set up for tomorrow.

Hasn't been a very good season for the Habs. This morning, I hear they're up for sale.

Just came from the Mint. Told the lady behind the counter what I wanted, and she said she'd look in her till to see how many she had left.

She had two, and I asked if I could get about eight more. Sure, she said, and reached into a cupboard back behind the counter where her rolls were.

Now, here's the funny thing -- the roll she opened up was one of those nicely wrapped ones they're selling for $45.

Go figure.

Interesting ... would they have given you a roll? Would it have been one of those rolls if they did? Are the ones they are breaking part of the advertised 10000? So many questions lol

Great story WpgLwr. It proves my theory that if you want something done correctly, you have to go to the top.

It's a shame when a counter person doesn't have an answer for your question they become rude.
