Some people may confuse circulated as a grade,it is not. Also, mint state "MS" is also a gray area. You can find a coin from circulation that might grade a MS60 even though it was not straight from the mint but from a cash draw or whatever.

Okay, it's been circulated, but so have half the low MS graded coins you see... Probably was uncirculated until some kid liberated it from Gramps collection. I run into those occasionally, old coins in mint condition, impaired proofs, etc. I'll say AU-58, but it would probably grade MS at a TPG...
