I got an offer quickly so was second guessing if I was pricing it right. Hearing you all say you'd pass made me quickly rethink listing it for auction on ebay. Could easily go for way less than what was offered or there is potential for another brown toning loving person out there but no guarantee. I would either need to commit to auction price or still pay a fee if the reserve wasn't met. Hopefully meeting up the guy on Friday about two '21s. Report this Post to the Staff
Maine Member Valued Member United States 450 Posts	Posted 03/18/2024 1:03 pm GL SilverSchmitt. I'm not a fan of toners in MS grades. For me, I think toning can hide defects (nick's and bag marks). I like the color but wouldn't pay a premium for it. But some was willing to. I hadn't got around to figuring a price for any of the 8 1921 MS-64s I have. Let him know I hadn't figured that piece out and he offered $220. So that's the going rate y'all were wondering about. The other 5 I have listed aren't toned and I'm guessing might fetch around $65-70ish. But $220.so yeah. Report this Post to the Staff

It's not an expensive coin, definitely not worth protecting that ugly toning. But, that's only my opinion, I hate toning. Report this Post to the Staff
