NumisRob,
Happy you got them safe and sound!
You always managed to put up lovely images much better than I do!
Will try again with my images to see if they do any justice to my gifts.
Meanwhile, I had to make good as they were supposed to be in your original packet.
Do you see the differences between old notes and new notes?
Now I realized the quarter is not in its best condition as I thought. I am so sorry about that!!
Before anyone could ask what happened, the quarter fell out of the packet while I was packing it up which I did not see until I got home from the Post Office. As to the notes, I somehow misplaced them and I couldn't find them in the time.
Best wishes for Happy New Year,
Carrigna

Quote: Tomorrow is the end of the month Do you all want me to lock this topic or leave it open for a while? I'd prefer you to leave it open. My neighbour has received a package addressed to me apparently signed Santa! That's intriguing because I already received something from Santa and I'm not in any other exchanges. Unfortunately, he's in quarantine so I can't get it yet.

Quote: Hey folks. Wanted to give a big shout out to Carrigna for a bonus Secret Santa gift! The Uzbekistani coin and currency are wonderful. Thank you so much! Hi CelticKnot! So pleased you got them safe and sound! On the same day as NumisRob! You are more than welcome! I thought you would like to have an Uzbek 1000 som coin after seeing your reply to Dearborn here where you said it is cool! Hence, a surprise belated Christmas/NHY present. I added a 1000 som note so you can see the connection between the note's reverse with the coin's reverse showing the building is actually the Amir Temur Museum. As you said to me in your message, same coat of arms and same structure on both. (Thumb up) Wow! The 10,000 som note looks much worse than I thought and it was not that bad in my hand, I am so sorry about that! This note is phased out currently in Uzbekistan. As you know, it is difficult to find Uzbek coins in top condition, my apologies in advance if the coin is not up to your standard. Best wishes for the New Year!

As to the notes, I somehow misplaced them and I couldn't find them in the time. No worries, Carrigna. The notes are great and I love the designs. And the quarter has gone in the Whitman American Women Quarters Folder that I just got on Amazon. It looks fine. (I bought two folders and have labelled them 'Denver' and 'Philadelphia').
