Iggy spied Coyote near a dusty old saloon Counting coins from '66 and howlin' at the moon Hey kid, you got a dollar? I'll trade you for advice Never bet on tails, and heads ain't worth the price
Iggy said, That's funny, I thought you'd know the score You're flipping ancient silver, and I'm as poor as poor Coyote wore a loony grin, a glimmer in his eye I'd bequeath you a riches boy, but they tax it when you die
So Iggy flipped a copper cent high into the air The road is dark, the night is long, but I don't really care And off they walked together, coins jingling right in tune Trading tales both long and tall for an old Canadian Loon
Wow! That is so talented. I'm serious. I'll break it down later. Just so the rest don't miss it.
You're a poet, aren't you iggy....I have a couple poems here...a loonie one and a toonie one, and even a song for jbuck. We have that in common too.
Iggy and the Coyote
Iggy spied Coyote near a dusty old saloon (I can sniff them out anywhere) Counting coins from '66 and howlin' at the moon ('67 didn't work) Hey kid, you got a dollar? I'll trade you for advice (new guy and loon reference) Never bet on tails, and heads ain't worth the price (Not with the coins I make )
Iggy said, That's funny, I thought you'd know the score (I do...my coin remember...) You're flipping ancient silver, and I'm as poor as poor (Poor we are not, we have each other.) Coyote wore a loony grin, a glimmer in his eye (That's a tear) I'd bequeath you a riches boy, but they tax it when you die (No kidding)
So Iggy flipped a copper cent high into the air (See avatar ) The road is dark, the night is long, but I don't really care (20Q motto) And off they walked together, coins jingling right in tune (20 Q motto) Trading tales both long and tall for an old Canadian Loon ()
Thank you.

Oh, man, I missed that! ... ... maybe I'll have to amend my answer
Here's a hint because I may have made a poor choice playing this "thing". Some questions have been tough for me to answer, so I answered in the literal sense of the question instead of my perceived intended sense of the question.
As an example: 1. Is this coin more than 100 years old? No (I answered No because this thing is not a coin - literal) (I believe, though could be wrong, that the intent of the question was to determine the coin's age, date, or date of issue... that would have been a different answer).
Keith quickly picked up on this with a follow up question.
I shall continue to try to answer the questions in a literal sense.
This thing IS listed on Numista, but may or may not have all of the details correct.
That being stated... you all probably did not need to know that... I'm new here remember? Also, I believe you will get this one in fewer than 20 Questions!
@loonie... I'm pleased you enjoyed the poem! Thanks!
Recap: (See hint in previous post) 1. Is this coin more than 100 years old? No 2. Is this thing listed on Numista under coins? No 3. Was this thing issued in USA? Yes 4. Is this thing listed on Numista under any round? Yes 5. Is this thing more than 100 years old? Maybe 6. Was this thing designed to be inserted in a slot? No 7. Dies this thing weigh more than 5g? Yes 8. Is this thing a token? Yes
