You got it mrit. This is a neat coin from trig. It has a lot going for it. The outer ring is, to me at least, normally silver with a gold core. It's a dollar coin, so Singapores loon. Minted in Winnipeg, and has 3 scripts. No one asked a mint or script Q though. The design is cool too.   "We are poor little lambs...who have lost our way...Baa...Baa...Baa"

I knew it. I'm glad that you like that coin Loonie. Here's a picture of the Merlion that I took on my 2017 cruise to Singapore. I was so sick on that cruise, that I nearly died. Came good before we reached Singapore though, I was still able to do the tourist thing, The following year we did another cruise, starting and finishing in Singapore on a different ship, and I picked up the same bacterial infection again. Down to sickbay I went, but this time I could tell them to check my medical records to see what it was. Still bowled me over for 5 days, and had to have saline drip to rehydrate. I'm glad I bought travel insurance. On the first trip, I missed seeing Komodo Island and East Timor (which was the main stop I really wanted to see, for coin gathering), and on the second trip I missed East Malaysia, that is on Borneo. Fortunately, most of the days I was sick, were sea days.  |
