I recommend storing the albums in these with some desiccant and a sacrificial cent loose in the bag: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P416S2...title_6&th=1 I would soak the SVDB in distilled/deionized water for 5 minutes, then, while still under water, gently try to dislodge the verdigris with a toothpick.
