If you bought them of off ebay, then you might be able to get a refund

I did, & since his feedback indicates he's a reputable (& very high volume) seller, I contacted him & got an immediate response. After looking at the pics (luckily his handwriting is still on the rolls), he apologized & offered me a full refund upon return, or a partial if I want to keep them. (I chose the latter, paying $10 shipping once was enough!) &

Yes, I would have sought a refund. I would have not wanted to keep them. I am glad you were able to get the partial refund.

In 2008 and 2009 the Mint DID sell rolls of cents through their website, but they used a different printing on the roll wrapper, and they were still actually rolled by an outside firm.

Just saw your question, Sharks (how do I reply directly to or quote someone?):

You use your mouse to copy original text, then paste it into your post. Then, outline the text and click on the icon showing a page and right facing red arrow in the Format row. This will insert q and /q around quoted text.
Hope that helps.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I wanted to thank Sharks for posting this up.

One more thing I learned is that you can't be using the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the thread. You need to be using the "Go to Full Reply" button at the bottom of the Quick Reply box.

I am on other forums where there is a quote function that works much easier than this. But then again, I have been using the Quick Reply box mostly as I didn't really notice the Full Reply feature.

You have to manually type

or [q][/q] into the box.
