That's why I never buy rolls or bags from the mint. Why pay more when the bank should have them at face?

At any rate, if you already paid for the packaging, you should keep it intact. And I agree with wets: if you open them, they just become common cents you can find in circulation. If you really want to look for errors and the whole can, ask your bank for rolls at face.

The problem is not all banks will have the new rolls. And most banks require you to be an account holder to do any business with them.
