Then maybe they will also make a Reagan Coin and Chronicles set!

OMG !! .......I just about fell out of my chair !
What a great idea THAT is ! ....

GAD ZOOOKES !!.......THAT WOULD JUST BE AN "INCREDIBLE" THING ! A REAGAN C&C SET !!

But as far as replacing Roosevelt on the dime, I don't think that would ever happen for many reasons...some already listed. The idea was suggested even to Nancy after his passing and she "angrily" relplied "No ! Ronnie wouldn't have wanted that". But his longtime affection for the military (which was VERY mutual) produced her christening the U.S.S Ronald Reagan Carrier....which is a spectactular vessel !

I have an even better idea.

The Reagan C&C set would be like the old Prestige Proof Sets; basically a proof set with one (or two) additional commemorative coin(s): Dollar (and Half-Dollar).

This set does not necessarily need to have a Regan Half Dollar (the Eisenhower Prestige Proof Set has just the Eisenhower Commemorative Dollar).

However, I would replace the cent, nickel, dime, quarter, and half dollar with modern versions of their 1911 equivalents (dated 2013 of course). That's right, another 95% copper Lincoln Cent... but this one has wheat ears!

Would definitely be a money maker if you were interested in flipping it.

As a man who "came of age" in the 80's (a la The Wonder Years), my definitive quote for the back of the coin, "Mr. Gorbechev: Tear down this wall!"
