Meow knows and will tell you. Those two quarters are from Mint sets. They where still wrapped in the cello when Meow bought them. Meow bought those two individual quarters because of the unique toning. Meow guesses it had something to do will the closed environment of the cello, and either the mixture in the metal; Or the shape of the magnetic field of the coin in relation to the struck devices. As you will notice it swirls abound in relation to the design.
But anyway, Meow loves the really unique look of them. Do you?

As Meow was admiring the photos again, Meow noticed in the first image; It looks like George Washington is saying in god we trust, in a cartoon bubble.

I collect rare minerals, and the patterns on those quarters at times reminds me of the bizarre patterns sometimes seen in mineral formations. At the same time, however, sometimes they suddenly look instead like a tiny two-year-old scribbled on it with a tiny crayon when nobody was looking. So, it makes me feel a little torn. Knowing that happened in the mint packaging seals the deal for me in the end. I would buy that, it's an error coin and is right up my alley. (My collector husband would shake his head if I did, but I don't even care..) |

Meow is hoping to one day see a mint set, or a coin out of mint set that has the same, or just as interesting toning. To Meow the toning is so very unique because it interacts with the devices. Typical toning just does not do that. And who knows, the pattern might change or disappear, as Meow took it out of the cello.
