Thanks - it's definitely my favorite toner.

Found this one on the end of a roll I got from bank today, the obverse looked so good I had to break this roll open first and see what reverse looked like. I like it. I still need a little practice at taking pictures of toned coins.

This looks like a straightforward circulated coin that's just turning brown as expected. What am I missing?

Looks way lighter in hand...almost golden in color. like I said I still need some practice showing true color of toned coins. With the luster this coin still has as well, it really pops. Will try to get better pics this evening. It might be just starting to brown as you say...but at this stage it looks great in hand to me.

I was basically referring to the many circulation marks and the clear wear on the jaw, hair, and bust. Usually, toner coins are MS or awfully close to it, which doesn't seem to be the case here - that's why I ask.

sorry didn't know there was a standard when it camo to posting toners. Will be more selective next time.

No need to apologize! Scroll through all of the posts on this thread and you will get a good sense of what a "toner" is.
