Actually two notes, one from Bolivia and one from Costa Rica. Hermes/Mercury can't decide whether he should be on the front or the back  Without even trying, I seem to already have a few notes from across Latin America where ABNC have used the same vignette. As there are lots of examples, here's hoping that someone has made a list of all the notes where ABNC have done this?   |

Pick #2b Orchid $5 Dr. Goh Keng Swee (Singapore) At least 10 folds (both heavy and light) 6 pinholes (with 2 at the bottom which are larger holes) No tears, no splits Stained (?) - Both sides quite yellowish. Feels like original paper based on touch and smell    |

Feels like original paper based on touch and smell -That's a really tough signature variety aster (I know as I looked for years to find mine) especially in the higher denominations! The back appears to have 2 separate pinkish stains around the "SINGAPORE" name on the top border & above the tall dark building in the design. The rest is just "soiling" from extensive circulation (I believe). Once your note has holes, stains or changes, it is no longer considered "original" by most TPG (Third Party Graders). Very tough note! Here's my Dr. Goh Keng Swee $1.00 which has slight toning on the top border:   |

Very tough note! Very nice piece of $1 you have. Indeed, it is challenging to find this signature variety for $5, $100, $1000 ($1, $10, $50 are more commonly seen). I am in Singapore and $5 $100 $1000 notes of this signature only appear in the market once a while. But sadly, mostly are washed notes, and it is a pity that these are the ones deemed "original" / EPQ / PPQ by grading companies too. Here is my $100 of the same signature variety. Heavily circulated with 2 pinholes, 1-2 tears and at least 10 folds (pretty heavy folds). Very limped due to the condition but based on feel, the note seems quite original to me at least.   |

Another amazing "Dr. Goh Keng Swee" $100 note aster. I saw your note posted on PMF but the image is much clearer. I think you may have selected the note & screencaptured so it turned out bluish looking here. Quote:

I do agree with patience. And indeed we just need to stay "active" and always be on a look out. Sometimes if you hesitate or missed the timing, the piece of note will be gone too. Previously there was a EF condition "Dr. Goh Keng Swee" $100 note. I hesitated awhile and the piece was sold shortly after. All happened within 2 hours from the time the seller posted the ad. Waited for another 4 months before someone offered the above $100 to me. During this period, there were others who were selling this variant too but the prices are simply too ridiculous imo. I think that is why many collectors use hunting metaphors like "pull the trigger" when purchasing since they've been searching for a while & want that note.
