Scotsgreyhound - Gotta love the Canadians in Space note. I've often thought to make a small collection of Space Related Vignettes on banknotes. And the designer of the new Eastern Caribbean States notes did good. I often find myself criticizing newer designs that seem cluttered and too busy - but these are better in my opinion. I really like the underprint design that mimics what looks to me like brain coral on the front and waves on the back.

I find it a real struggle as the entire Frontiers polymer series was a huge disappointment to me & many collector friends abandoned collecting altogether after its release.

Although, in retrospect, the $5 & $10 were somewhat better than their predecessors $20/$50 & $100. The colour of this series is just so drab when you see them in person "DaveL"

And, while I cannot find the story (behind the story) how did he launch a note that was produced in 2012 (when the note was released in 2013)? They made this note with the $100 substrate ($100/Borden's image on the holographic strip) so the actual note (notice the security in the article) is a true one-of-a-kind rarity.

I like the old £1 notes, they can be bought quite reasonably usually.
Often wonder myself how some survive in top condition from that era too.
As always condition is key, serial numbers too, certain serial numbers are sought after.
For example, a 1948 (Peppiatt sig) with an S_ _ A serial could be worth double my note's value and a 1948 'replacement' serial S09S would be worth easily into the hundreds of pounds.

- I realized it was the earlier versions (P363) with some of the variations you listed and the earlier signatures (Mahon. Catterns) that were demanding the higher prices than seen on the book (after I hit return/posted my comments).
