I will. I hope to get some more after the new year.

I am not sure how long this build will take me. It will certainly include the standard 32 coin set and the 1972 varieties. I also want slabbed versions of the 1990 and 2013 commemorative dollars (proof and uncirculated) and the 2015 golden dollars (uncirculated P & D, proof, and reverse proof).

1971-S Unc Ike 40%

Didn't notice the cloudiness on this one until I took some pictures. Is there a way to clear it up?

Yes. Since its not in a slab you can dip it in EZest coin dip. Works like magic. If you are unfamiliar with the process you can use the search box here to find old threads about how to do it or we can give you a rundown

The 40% Business strike coin is interesting. Maybe the pictures are playing tricks on me, but as someone else said, the "broken leg on the obverse R is very cool. Secondly, on the reverse it looks like you have a "Night Crawler" which is only supposed to be on Proof Ike's. Very interesting coin indeed.

Thanks all!!

@ Cascade- thanks for the EZest tip. Will look for some at my LCS.

I did check and the second coin is not a "Night Crawler" just looks that way in pics. I am also not seeing the "Broken Leg" on obverse. The "R" looks complete to me.

Be careful with the with the e-Z-est. If you have never used it before you will want to practice on some junk first. Personally, I would not use it and just leave the coin alone.

Just reviving the thread.

Not too many marks on this one, and again the camera enhanced the cloudiness.
