How do you know which one was from west point and which one was from Philadelphia?

You do not.  They did this on purpose. The West Point mint was only used to augment the Philadelphia mintage (and their mintage total was added to Philadelphia's). The number of coins minted there was very low compared to the Philadelphia and Denver mints. Had they put a W mint mark on those coins, their low mintage would have resulted in the same hoarding that occurred with the relatively low 1968 to 1974 San Francisco issues.

We are getting rolls from the bank now here in SE Wisconsin. Too bad about all of those spots all over the coins. Ugh.
