I'm also a new digicam owner as of this past April with a Canon S2 IS which has more functions on it than I'll ever use. It's also taking me a lot of time (five months so far) to figure out how it works and I haven't really gotten to coin photography yet although that was the major reason for the upgrade from my old Kodak DX2500. Now that I'm back in my winter feeding grounds, I hope to be able to set aside some time for serious coin photography. Fred Report this Post to the Staff

dsking Pillar of the Community United States 2365 Posts	Posted 09/06/2006 10:10 am I'm liking the black background but, I think I'll try the grey and see if the coins turn out more silver than goldish looking. Ofcourse, some of that is my lighting. I'm still having a little trouble getting the zoom to zoom in close enough for details without blurring the pic. More practice is in order.
