In AU, about $50. MS-63, about $150. In MS-64, it can go $400+ You may have gotten yourself a nice deal on this coin.

(I should mention $2500 in MS-65. I think this coin has a shot at that grade but expect TPG's to be massively conservative given the rarity and value)

The "O" mint Morgan dollars are often a great bargain unslabbed since dealers confuse the characteristic weak strike with wear.

Eventually they will all be cherry picked and slabbed but, for now, with 90% of the coin population unslabbed opportunities remain as I think we saw with this coin.

RJ, some signs that a coin has been cleaned are an excessive number of fine hairline scratches (visible under magnification) that are recessed into the coin surface particularly ones that are circular or parallel to coin surfaces. Fine lines that are raised are typically die polishing and won't impact grade.

Another sign is a well circulated coin that has no tarnish. Usually those have been dipped and, often, polished.
