In response to scurry. You need paper to make dollar bills, we already waste enough paper as it is. Metal is recyclable and if those stats I read were true, than coins last longer than paper. So we kill the earth alittle slower lol.

I hate to tell you this, but it is not really paper.

Most know how I stand on this issue. I hope they finally go through with it already. With our short attention spans, I guarantee that most of the complainers will get over it before the next Charlie Sheen happens.

I agree jbuck... They give all kinds of incentives for businesses to go with "green" technology, to conserve our resources, yet they waste all of our tax money...What's the word for that oh yeah hipocracy... Kill the dollar bill...
