I think I'm gonna be sick...was the 1858 / 1558 an ebay find? :)...what about the 1872 25c A/V? I feel like I'm so late to the game, you've scooped up all the treasures :(

There is a ton of ebay treasures left to be found. 1858 was a $115 Buy it Now. The 25 cent A/V was the first of 4 I have bought on ebay. Over the last 6 years.

Thanks for sharing Do you have any pics of the large date with enough clarity that we could form an opinion

I bought the coin on ebay in the PCGS holder. I could see that it had a bowtie on top of the reverse crown. $50 and then sent to ICCS for a cross grade.

I don't doubt that it's a large I just wonder why PCGS gives AU-55 and ICCS EF40 Now if you can send it to PCGS and have it come back as large date 55 you can more than double your investment again

Zonad: very nice coins, but can I ask... why do you have a picture of Larry King as your avatar?

Don't be fooled by how a person looks. The corrective lens increased my IQ by 100%. I don't want to change my avatar unless it's to one I like.
