I just spoke to James. He is definitely leaving ANACS and heading back to Colorado. He has been in Austin and only seeing his family on weekends. I knew this and suspected that this might be why he was leaving. James has confirmed it. He is leaving ANACS so that he can go home and be with his family.

Seems to me he has his priorities straight and I applaud him for that! I had a friend who just did the exact same thing. Couldn't sell the house in Louisiana after getting a very good job in Indiana again. Worked here for over 7 months and could only see his family every other weekend and that involved flying home or a tremendous drive. It finally got the best of him!

I agree with you, Terry. I'm sure that it can't be easy for him to give up his position with ANACS, but he definitely has his priorities straight. There is no job that is more important than your family.

Their second mistake was the new slabs-- , As for their grading/graders?, that won't effect them at all since they ARE still a respected TPG--

Oh... Colorado? Now wouldn't James make the perfect ANA Exective Director? Anyone think the board could mutate enough backbone to boot Cipoletti and offer the position to James? Jame for ANA Exective Director!!!!!!!!!

I really don't understand why so many of you are so upset over Taylor's leaving. You talk about all he has done for Anacs as if it was something he did for you personally, but no one has said specifically what he did. He changed the slabs, but nobody has anything good to say about them. He moved the company and you all seem to think that was a bad idea. When he visited the forum he made sweeping promises about how great Anacs will be, but he could not or would not do much of anything. He's just a guy that sat at a big desk for a year, and probably made a lot of money while all the same people did the same jobs they had been doing for months or years. For goodness sake, let this guy down from his pedestal!

From time to time everyone goes somewhere else.
But reaching out to the forum from novice to collector either for profit or marketing, the point is he reached out most on the pedestal dont, they just ignore the one on the bottom, either all the promises and question are fruitless they already inquire to james.
Since there is a section in this forum for anacs hope anyone will replace james will do the same thing answering question from this forum.

All I can say is at least James was willing to spend his own time to come in and talk to us. Will David Hall do that?

He does, at his own forum. Ron Guth, too.

True, but they are rather particular about which questions they will answer. Most of the questions put to either Guth or Hall went unanswered. Ron Guth does seem a bit more willing than Hall ever was.
