I trust your wisdom MacMercury but there is a lot of fear in this market. They are throwing out anything but Newmont Mining and that is up a nickel. I'm not buying anything (except Newmont Mining) with their operations in Peru.

Buying it a bit at a time with dividend stocks. Will see if tomorrow will hit the lowest. Good planning with your SDS, you will come out ahead for sure.

I don't know Go Thunder,I see at least a couple of more days of drops at least. Confidence is gone and folks can't take the risks. There will be institutional buying, but, volumes will be really low for a long time. Gold is finally taking hold.

Junior e, I bought gold at the lowest level 10 years ago at around $250-340 oz. range, silver at under $6 oz. And still buy some but not as much, I like collecting more than ever now that I can afford what I can't buy back then.
My friend who's a day trader thought PM was scams and still thinks that way today, told me to sell all my PM and get in with stocks, he made millions doing so.
I still have years before I can retire, so if future comes out ahead. Great! If not, worst case scenario I will break out even.

I certainly trust your judgement and experience. I just really feel inside that CITI is going to $1 before I personally will jump in. It's the worst start for August ever.

Funny you mention Citi, I took 97guns advise and got approved Preferred Master CC with 0% interest for purchase for 12 months.
Hope I don't use it though.

Looks like after the drop, all stocks will trade side ways as usual until then.
Big volume on selling for sure, Bargain hunters will pick it up and then its going down again for at least another day.
Picking up dividend paying stock only.

It isn't about us figuring things out. It is the corrupt government messing with over the people. Not talking politics of dems vs repubs... It's the government taking the money from the people and giving it to big corrupt business and lining their own pockets.

Good leaders normally gets killed, bad politicians gets aids from us. We get taxes as US citizens and help fund illegal immigrants to vote for those that are in the office now.

Go Thunder, what I meant to say is,after all the fallout settles,it will be a long time before we see investors return in large numbers. Whatever trust there was is gone.

Yeah, I agree Hock. A lot of the volume these days is high frequency trading with computers (robots).
I'm hoping for a big fast rally so I can get less big in equities.
A pull back in gold would be nice here too so I can buy more.

Looks like the bargain hunters are back into buying stocks this morning, but way too early to tell how it will end today. PM did a little pull back with silver down more, hoping to get back into SLV when it goes further lower.
