Postscript III: Well, straitlegs didn't waste any time letting me know what he thought of my feedback: quote: Sent from straitlegs via ebay message:
Dear Off: The last part of your ebay name fits you. You are OFF, cheap and one who is trying to beat people. I wouldn't deal with you or your kind. You weren't worth a response. You have the nerve to call me dishonest. You must be one of those old Bitties whose life is her computer. I hope the rest of your life is as miserable as it is now. Stick-it
I wonder exactly what he meant by "your kind". Hmmnm.

texasmick: You have my sympathy mate, I've 'been there-done that' on ebay here in Australia. It's depressing but makes you feel OK when it's over. Guido: Liked your comments mate, are you sure you don't have a long-lost brother in Australia. We certainly think along the same lines. Happy New Year to you both. regards,

"Your kind" ? The kind who doesn't rip people off and expects a fair deal to come your way as much as giving one to other people? Unfortunately Seth, not every seller on ebay grasps this concept. My last negative was pretty close to this same deal only it was cell phone parts but nonetheless very nerve racking to have to deal with them through e-mail. The guy just didn't get it just as this one doesn't seem to either. Unfortunately there isn't a way to spot these people sometimes and you just have to take it with a grain of salt and move on and blacklist them as someone mentioned above and definitely put them on the blacklist here in the forum also so we can at least protect a few from this bum in the future. Hate to add to the story Mick, but I just checked Toolhaus, and here's what he has to say now under your feedback... "Reply by straitlegs: this buyer was refunded full purchase price asap. and I apologized immediately." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA So nice how he's trying to sound like the victim here....

I looked for a couple of days to see if he would answer my feedback, but had stopped looking. Thanks for letting me know.... I know I should just let it go, but I am fighting the urge to respond to his response.

There is some justice in the world! I just did a check on the dealer that ripped me off. Three Cheers, he's been deregistered by ebay. All that and we play good cricket as well.. regards,

I think the main problem with this little incident is the lack of common courtesy. Sellers have made mistakes with items I've won and I just gave them the old 10-4 and had them send the item anyways. They always greatly apologized and sent additional items.
What makes me mad is when I buy a note from someone and they sent an envelope, a protective sleeve, and the note. No "thank you", no "come again", no "business card". Nothing. I like getting items and reading what they have to say. Good things, Ty
