Repeats are fine by me. We can all learn more about these coins while we're having a little fun with the trivia.

BTW, does anyone know the story behind the word Trivia. Think about it. Don't look it up. Dissect the word. What is the origin of the word TRIVIA?

The middle one was $40 - the other two were $7.50. Just been looking at these on ebay, the prices are crazy! There is one on for $150 and its only about as good as the two I paid $7.50 for, nowhere near as good as the one that cost $40. Crazy.

Coin 2 is fantastic, I've not seen many as good but 3 is also very good in hand and I got it at a good price - just shows you dont have to break the bank to pick nice coins up.

Yeah, your coins were fairly obvious. That middle coin is fantastic, but I'd take any of the three.

Nice coins bobby!

Looks like it's my turn. My Probus, my Victorinus, and my Constantine I. One I paid $15, another $12.99, and one $12. You-Pick-Tetricus-II You-Pick-Tetricus-II You-Pick-Tetricus-II

Well, IMO your Victorinus is the nicest followed very closely by the Probus and last the Constantine I.

Assigning value may be tricky, but here goes:

Victorinus: $12.99
Probus: $15
Constantine I: $12

I still love your Victorinus

I'd agree with JW for the prices - sadly its getting harder and harder to pick up super cheap coins now that sellers seem to think its acceptable to charge up to $10 to post a coin letter rate. My two most recent purchases cost more in postage than the coin finished for!

Yeah, most of the coins under $10 that I see are barely identifiable lumps. If you want decent detail and good legends, got to pay more.
For the Probus I paid $12.99 (w/shipping included), the Victorinus $12, and the Constantine I $15 (I know I overpaid but I was only like a month or so into collecting Romans and I was psyched about getting my third coin -this one)

Just out of curiosity JangoFett, how many coins do you own? I have a reason for asking, but I will wait till your reply.

Currently have 20 Roman coins at the moment. When bobby's coin arrives, it'll be 21.

The reason I was asking about your collection I wasn't just being nosy. I was thinking about selling some of my duplicate coins, but I don't have the heart to sell them. I'd rather give them away to someone just starting out to help them on their way. These are not anything to brag about, and in fact some are only barely attributable. If you would like some of these, just PM me your mailing address. That goes for anyone else who may want to "adopt" some of these less than "adoptable" coins. I think I have around 20 or so I would like to find new homes for.

Hopefully it wont be much longer, UK-US been taking about two weeks lately for some reason. Please dont expect too much though, its not in great shape, it could give you an opportunity to study some mint styles though.

This was an easy decision for me. I don't like selling and I do want others to develop an interest in this hobby and history in general.

Don't worry. Whatever the condition, it's no problem. Just know that it will be going to a good home.
