Timeless. Beautiful design (and awesome photos once again) I'm so glad that the RCM do not change the maple leaf design from year to year

That is a nice Britannia coin Silverbug. How much did you pay for that? I could not find one for < $600.

The gilded Britannia can be had for under $200 if it's the gold gilded "silhouette" proof version then the price will be close to $500

I got the gilded one around $70, the year 2000 one with some marks, I got it at j & m for $34, they thought it's a normal round and sold it for spot+1

IMO a much better design than the walking liberty of American Silver Eagles as well. I also like that they alternate the designs of the odd-year issues. If only The Royal Mint stuck to that rule more thoroughly, the set would look more complete (most of even year issue Britannias - 2002,04,06, etc. - feature the design pictured, while the odd-years was different each time around. One of the exceptions being the 2010 issue, which is also my least favorite design out of the whole lot)

2008 this design is skipped too, fortunately it's back again in 2012 issue. need to mention that britannia mintage is 100,000 each year

Beautiful set! I've been eying the same set for a while now and just couldn't pull the trigger. Yah, don't know what happened from 2008 on, a new 2008 and a different recycled 2009 design,... Still beautiful coins though.
