OK, so they are not NCLT, but as far as bullion "coins" go, what do you of the art?

I know 2009 is somewhat boring, but 2010 and 2011 are much nicer.

not NCLT and not Canadian either?
Either way, not a bad design compared to APMEX. I like the 2010, makes sense.

Well, it is Canadian, just not a coin and defiantly not legal tender.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitco
Assuming Wiki is true: Kitco is a Canadian company that buys and sells precious metals such as copper, silver and gold.

They have an downtown Montreal office where you can pickup coins and rounds.
The 2011 rounds are less than $ 40 each as of Nov 10, 2011

https://online.kitco.com/bullion/co...ist_CAD.html
If you buy online, min order is $ 1000.
No idea on how much shipping but there is no minimum order and no shipping if you show up in person.

Geeze, if I give any more info, people will start accusing me of working there. :)

I mentioned these rounds as I just started collecting 1oz coins from different countries and I liked the art so much, I added the 2010 & 2011 to my collection.

As poboxw mentioned, the 2010 image does make a lot of sense.

The 2011 round, reminds me of the Austrian bullion coin. Maybe Kitco was inspired by them?

They are bullion rounds. I wouldn't except high end art on them because the market for those rounds should be the bullion market. Having to pay a premium for artwork is not the target market of those rounds. They aren't bad though.

Timeless. Beautiful design (and awesome photos once again)
I'm so glad that the RCM do not change the maple leaf design from year to year

That is a nice Britannia coin Silverbug. How much did you pay for that? I could not find one for < $600.

The gilded Britannia can be had for under $200
if it's the gold gilded "silhouette" proof version then the price will be close to $500

I got the gilded one around $70, the year 2000 one with some marks, I got it at j & m for $34, they thought it's a normal round and sold it for spot+1
