Quote: Due to an amazing amount of requests/cajoles/demands, Thanks Moe! My favorites! Was my "please, please, please - I beg you" a bit overdone? I missed it last time and am looking forward to see everyone's collection and some awesome coins!

I cannot wait to see what the newer members bring to one of the best 'Day Of' threads ever.

Quote: 4 days to go folks! Just a question before we start the Days of Capped Bust half dollars. Do you think we will ever have a days of Draped Bust Half Dollars 1796 - 1807 or is it too few years and maybe too few coins to post? If we don't plan have a 'days of draped bust' thread in the future may I suggest that we post (if Moe approves) any we own to this new thread either before or on opening day December 1? I'd love to see what everyone has if they do collect draped bust half dollars. Anyone else interested?

I also would looove to see the earlier halves. Why not make it an 'X days of early halves' thread by starting with 1839 and working backwards this time? Just a friendly suggestion to liven up the interest and activity.

The schedule is already set. Why not take 2 or 3 days in Jan after the 1839's to post late entries and the early years.

Moe, (and everyone else) just thought you would enjoy this.... Talked with my wife last night about this telling her I have to get my "Cap Busts" together, and the look on her face~~~~~~~PRICELESS. She only knows them as the "large lady" half dollars. We will only be participating in a third of the days, but I'm just so excited to see what everyone here has. I have been through the last thread many times since I've joined and the collections are truly astounding. I also agree with Captianwiffo, we REALLY need a Mercury dime thread sometime soon. Those beautiful ladies and IHC are the coins I first started with as a kid! Thanks for everything here MOE.
