Hey, I'm a bit curious => ummm, did any of you also order the Sterling Silver sets as well? (only 10,000 minted) Man, I love "silver" coins ... do you think that these silver coins might actually be worth something, someday?

I have not been billed for the packs on my credit card so they are not in the mail yet. The mint told me on the phone last week the packs will go out soon.

Still haven't received my Park Quarters either. They were supposed to be mailed mid February but I'm guessing there will be delays again...

I've ordered 3 sets Feb 4 and they didn't pick it up on my credit card. I've wrote to RCM and the answered me that they were back order (in french; rupture de stock) and I would have to expect a delay of 5 to 6 weeks before delivery.

I see that many people have not been billed or received these coins yet. I ordered a set back on Jan, 6th, and like others here haven't received them or been billed yet.
My question is this....has anybody received theirs yet? or even been billed yet?

I have still not received my order yet. This is my first purchase with the RCM and I placed my order on December 30/11. I really am not too impressed with them, being a first time buyer and all. My question: is this the norm when ordering from there?

I can't say if it's the norm but it is definitely common. Personal speculation - with the ramp up in new issues by the RCM their ordering and distribution systems have been overwhelmed and they're still trying to get caught up.

I thought those were just general circulation commemorative pieces, I have 3 from change. Or are they both.

Per the RCM annual report, the mintage of the bison and falcon quarters are 12,500,000, each, whereas there are only 450,000 orca minted. Does it make the orca more collectible?

It definitely would make it more collectible, but I'm not sure if that report is accurate. If it was accurate you would think it would be hard to find rolls of the orca. The orca rolls seem just as easy to find as the other 2. I'm not sure what to think.

Is it possible the mintage of orca quarters was carried out largely in early 2012?

Seriously? => man, I received my "silver version" and my "circulated version" of those coloured coins months ago! ... ooops, they must have over-sold their coins, so now they're all on back-order (in other words, you're gonna end-up buying them on ebay) ... or from Colonial Acres For the record, they're not that great => If I was to do it all overa again, I'd collect a few circulating coins and get over it (oh, but "no", I'm not gonna sell mine ... I don't sell)

I just checked the mint site and now there is a note where you track orders that they 'should ship' mid June.
