That is one gorgeous coin. Am I just partial to the older coins, OR they just don't have the craftsmanship and creativity like they used to on the new coins? I really do not care for the designs on the newer coins.

we should go back to artistic designs instead of dead presidents - the SLQ posted is one great example

I think this one may be XF40 condition, I believe it has to much wear to maker the AU grade in my opinion

Under a microscope, there appears some slight flattening to the face, which begs the question, is it wear or the strike? What are the highest points that show the first signs of circulation wear on this series? What other indicators are there of wear vs strike on SLQs?
