justcarl: Umm, so who is going to inherit your collection? If you don't have any kids or grandkids who collect coins, you could adopt me and i'll take them. I'll take good care of the collection! ;)

The problem is I have lots of favourites, they all say "Five Cents" and are the size of a Half Dime.

So many great coins, how do you choose a favorite? This one consistantly stays on top of my list. 1869 proof seated half.

Now that is a coin with lots of detail. Sure wish the US could make those. Quote: justcarl: Umm, so who is going to inherit your collection? If you don't have any kids or grandkids who collect coins, you could adopt me and i'll take them. I'll take good care of the collection! ;)
Has come up on several other posts. And yes, no one to leave this all to. Really been thinking about that a lot lately. Occationally I think this is one of my favorites, but never sure.

Without doubt my 1927 St Gaudens Double eagle - it was my dream coin since I started collecting and I was over the moon when I got it at auction early last year.
