OK guys - as always, I don't fit the crowd. I was blessed with great in-laws. However, since they live 1200 miles away, I had to vote coins b/c I get to see the in-laws so little and the coins are here every day. But our family get togethers are always great and I look forward to them.

I cried when my mother -in law died. She was a beautiful Lady.
My love for numismatics is entirely different.
I can't make this choice. It's like comparing love with technology. Can't be done.

My MIL will make silver dollar pancakes. Does that count for anything?

I never spent time on the internet trying to learn how to get more in-laws to bring home to keep, look at and share my opinion on. So coins.

I've heard of these "wife" things. They sound like a lot of trouble.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I know it's easy to be obvious and pick your coin collection here, but I gotta be honest and say all the people in my life give me more enjoyment than my coin collection and my mother-in-law is generally fun to be with. So I'm one of the nerds who picked his mom

You also have to consider that if you really love your wife, and would pick her over your coins, then you have to give your MIL credit for that.
Fortunately being single I don't have to consider that. Coins!
